Mass Effect 2 Coming January 26 With Pre-Order Bonuses

Confirming once again that January 2010 is the new Christmas 2009, Electronic Arts has announced that Mass Effect 2 will be available for the Xbox 360 and PC on January 26.
The sequel to the 2007 science fiction role-player from Bioware will continue and perhaps conclude the story of galactic special agent Commander Shepherd.
Those who pre-order Mass Effect 2 will score a couple of in-game items. Terminus Armor, pictured above, increases speed, shielding and weapons as well as granting extra space for ammo. The M-90 Blackstorm Heavy Weapon is a doozy — the thing kicks out a localized, high-intensity gravity well.
Certain retail outlets will offer download codes for an additional outfit called Inferno Armor, which boosts Sheperd’s negotiation, speed and damage.
